Dharma is a Sanskrit term which
means work, although it is more than simply work. Dharma in
this way refers to our work in the world, what gifts we are
here to offer and share with the world. When we are in our
dharma, there is a way that we are aligned with the universe
and we are doing what we are here to do. A great Yoga
teacher, Rama Jyoti Vernon, says that we know we are doing
our dharma if we move to some far away place (and don't
leave a forwarding number), then people seek us out to do
the same work we were doing before, that is when we know we
are in dharma.
Darci's Dharma is to help
people be in their bodies, to live healthy and happier
lives. I do this using my; skills as a spa owner, working
with my staff, who have their own gifts and talents,
training them in Ayurveda treatments, helping them to hone
and refine their skills to serve as a community, offering
workshops, retreats, facilitating Pancha Karma and doing my
own inner work.
About private sessions with Darci:
I bring my years of
training and experience in yoga, (I began my yoga learning
with family practice sessions as a child) many modalities of
Massage Therapy, Ayurveda and Pancha Karma to each session.
Paying close attention to what each individual is
expressing, with and without words. One of my gifts is a
sort of 'body whisperer', I just know what is going on
inside, what makes people tick, and how to help them regain
a sense of wholeness. Some people call that a medical
intuitive, I don't use that phrase because of the medical
connotation. I do believe 'western medicine' has a valuable
place, and I am not a doctor. I am an Ayurveda practitioner.
Please check with your physician before making any changes
to your diet or lifestyle.
Over the years I have
noticed that I work best with people who are ready to make
changes, as partners in their growth and healing process.
With great respect to all people (including myself), to save
our time and energy, please check inside to make sure you
are ready. Also, feel free to do your 'due diligence' read
about me here on the website, ask questions, so you feel
comfortable with me before we work together. Our ancient
Ayurveda texts talk about the importance of having trust so
they can defer (to yield respectfully in judgment or
opinion) to their Ayurveda practitioner. That way we can
have the optimum fertile ground for the magic that happens
during our work together. And you can then make the required
changes toward your greater wholeness with
alacrity (cheerful
readiness, promptness or willingness.
I am available, and happy
to serve you, by appointment for the aforementioned sessions
as well as guiding you through Pancha Karma retreats and
other wellness retreats. Please see our

appointment. Or, you can email me personally with questions or
